Terms of Service
By playing KittenTracks.com (hereafter referred to as KT, game, we, us, or staff), players (defined as anyone having an account on the game; also referred to as members, users, you) agree to be bound by all Rules and Terms of Service. It is the player's responsibility to keep up-to-date with the rules and ToS; ignorance is not an excuse.
KT is an online cat game which involves the showing and breeding of FAKE cats, transfers of FAKE money, and more fake things. The only REAL currency spoken about is that which members must pay to become upgraded (and is sent to Paradigm Programming LLC). KT is meant for players upwards of 8 years of age, and if a player is under 13 years of age, the player must receive parental permission to play.
KT is provided as-is and makes no guarantees of how long it will be in operation, if the game will undergo downtime, if the game will be sold, etc. Members acknowledge this and play knowing that they will not be refunded for time lost. In the unlikely event that KT should cause harm to a player's computer, person, or anything else, KT will not be held responsible; the user has agreed that the game is played at his or her own risk.
There are no refunds whatsoever, regardless of what happens. Users who break the rules can and WILL have their accounts suspended and/or permanently banned. Account features and privileges can be restricted or denied at any time for any reason; no notice must be given to the owner of the accounts that have been affected.
Users are responsible for and accept complete liability of any and all content they choose to display on KT. If a member posts something that is copyrighted, it is the member who will be held responsible for it, not KT. Inappropriate content (such as pornography) will cause KT to take legal action against the person who posted it; it is not allowed on this game.
Revealing personal information on Kitten Tracks is highly discouraged. Although we do our best to erase any personal information that we catch members sharing, we cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting from shared personal information. All personal information shared is done so at the player's own risk.
The use of programs (internal or external) to advance yourself or your cats in the game is illegal and charges will be pressed on anyone who uses such a device for the deliberate attempt to harm the server and game.
Player and Cat stats may be affected by bugs in the game. If this happens, players agree to accept this and not hold KT responsible for it. There is no guarantee stats will be returned to their state they were in before the bug, although KT staff will do the best they can to do so.
All images, code, and text belong to Paradigm Programming LLC. You will not steal, copy, plagarize, or in any other way claim the materials to be yours.
If a user finds bugs, errors, inappropriate content, or something "not quite right" (such as a 1,000,000 point cat), the user is required to report it and to not take advantage of the problem.
By playing this game, users allow KT to collect personal information, such as e-mail addresses and IP addresses, for its own marketing and tracking purposes. User information will not be sold to third-parties UNLESS that third-party is purchasing KT as a whole.
